Security Engineer:

Description

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data. At Kissi & Co, we prioritize a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and reports to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Bonus

  • Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide security awareness training.
  • Contribution to open-source security projects.
